Today, Monday, March 9, 2026, I awoke early, as is my usual routine. Watching the news unfold across different countries, a profound sense of worry washed over me regarding the current state of our world. Compelled by these events, I feel an urgent need to share my thoughts and appeal directly to our world leaders.
We are all human. We are born the same way, and we all require the same basic necessities to survive. How, then, have we allowed greed to consume us? Perhaps it is because humans, as highly intelligent beings, possess cognitive and emotional complexities—IQ, EQ, and MQ—designed to prolong and elevate our existence. Yet, too often, we misuse these gifts.
Today, leaders deploy advanced technologies not to uplift humanity, but to fight one another. This reality has escalated far beyond the comprehension and the desires of everyday global citizens. All we truly seek is to live in peace, to find calm, and to sustain our world for the generations to come. When I look to the future now, the vision is clouded.
I am reminded of an old song: “When I was just a little girl, I asked my mother, what will I be? Will I be pretty? Will I be rich? Here’s what she said to me: Que sera, sera. Whatever will be, will be. The future’s not ours to see. Que sera, sera.”
I used to sing those words happily, embracing the innocence of letting the future simply unfold. However, at 42 years old, my perspective has evolved. We cannot simply leave the future to chance. My deepest passion is to help develop global education and to guide the next generation in building a strong moral mindset and a profound understanding of life.
Living a beautiful and happy life does not stem from extreme wealth or absolute power.
To me, true leadership begins with a deeply moral heart. People will love and respect you sincerely not for the riches you hoard, but for the good you do. I firmly believe in the philosophy of “Givers Gain,” and I trust in the nobility of a peaceful, morally grounded mindset.
It is my sincere hope that this message reaches the moral leaders of our world. If even one leader reads and appreciates these words, it will have made a difference. I hold trust and respect for everyone, for we share this one planet.
I implore you: please bring peace back to our small world. It is time to heal not only our fractured societies but our beloved Earth and its environment. Whether nature, animals, or human beings, we all deserve to live fully and peacefully until our last breath. Let us grow together, in harmony with each other and the natural rhythm of the universe.
From my heart,
Dr. Kemisa Boonyakiate
